Feb 11, Theresa rated it it was amazing Shelves: keepers. I thought this was one of Mr. Michael's better shorts, even though I wanted to edit out all of the "baby"s.
Actually had a well done emotional fisting scene. I wish this story would be extended into a full length book. Dec 15, Paws rated it really liked it Shelves: dirty-talk. It had my first fisting scene! And, it seemed appropriate and kind of integral to the plot.

Oh i absolutely loved this one I think it's my fav Sean Michael one He actually shocked me in this one For some men, especially those in demanding jobs where everyone expects them to be in charge and strong all the time, the need to let go in the bedroom is a very tough one to admit. It impacts their self-image as a man, since society has some very clear if mistaken ideas about what a man should be like and how he should behave.
The contradiction they see between what they need to be like on the job versus what they want to be off the job is difficult to reconcile. Please find my full review of For some men, especially those in demanding jobs where everyone expects them to be in charge and strong all the time, the need to let go in the bedroom is a very tough one to admit.

I picked this book becuase I'd read a previous book by this author and wanted to see more of his work. I like the tight writing style and the toughness in the characters his writes. But he seems to be writing big stories in a small format. With this story, I am left wanting a deeper, more fully developed story line with more internal growth shown on the page instead of implied in the time lapse transitions.
