While still in early access, I encourage everyone to give the game a chance as it will surely become a classic in its own right I would like to note that there are some reviews that state you have to be a professional singer in order to play this game. I would like to state that is not true.
I am by no means a professional singer. As long as you can produce sound with your voice you can definitely use their calibration tools to make sure that controls will register properly. I was in choir growing up so this was a fun way to incorporate my gaming background and my musical background in a unique way.
The art is gorgeous and the world is fun to discover, with very little dialogue that I can remember, at least. My only complaint is that it was confusing at first to figure out how the environment could be passed through versus jumped onto. For example, if trying to jump onto a platform, it is possible to jump through it and then land on it versus in some games you would need to jump around it and then onto it because it is impermeable.
Once I understood how they treated objects in the environment it was straightforward to plan jumps from there. This is a beautiful game with a unique way of playing. I admit I feel a little silly singing to myself, but as the difficulty ramps up a bit it feels a lot more purposeful than just making random noises and hoping for the best like one might do.
