This reduction in drag will lead to more club speed which will lead to further driving distances. Callaway used the RAZR Fit to debut the overemphasized shaping of the clubface together with meticulous thickness control to offer a more prominent sweet spot.
This brand-new technology enhances stress distribution and ultimately increases the ball speed across the face. By adding some revolutionary technologies in their design, they have made sure to give the user the best chance of figuring out where to tweak their club, not their swing, for the best results on the course! Adjusting the club to a suitable degree does not involve any change in the position of the shaft, leaving all the grip reminders as it is, making it easier for you to focus on your regular sewing patterns.
The engineers succeeded in developing a club that does not force you to change your swing but instead to simply change your driver. Can you adjust the loft on Titleist TS3 driver?
Yes, the loft on the Titleist TS3 driver is adjustable. The TS3 comes with a SureFit hosel that allows sixteen different loft and lie settings to Is the Callaway Big Bertha Hybrid adjustable? Yes, the Callaway Big Bertha Hybrid is adjustable and can be used by all kinds of golf players. But the optifit adaptor actually raises the loft in the C position and drops the loft in the O poisiton.
Why does this stuff have to be so complicated? Apparently now the manufacturer's are also not staying consistent with their adaptors either. This was my first attempt at working with an adjustable driver. I did like the fact that I could make many adjustments in the trial and error process and it shortens the process but it was frustrating.
I had purchased the RF extreme 5W first. Hit it a few times and got the setting I liked right away. Set it closed. Loved it so much, I bought the 3W. Same adjustment, perfect. In my infinite wisdom decided that I liked the ball flight so much that I would buy the same shaft with the same style head with 7. Not even close! Went to 9. Then went to the larger RF head with another degree of static loft. This was a lot better. However, couldn't feel I was loading the shaft the way I liked.
Had to add the extra weight. Granted this is purely anecdotal but this past Sunday I played my RazrFitXtreme 3 wood on the Open setting, thought lower loft would help into the wind and it had a dramatic effect on ballflight, not as in fades but it was significantly lower. Fairways were a bit soft and muddy so it didn't translate to more roll however, switched it back to Standard. Opening the face lowers loft.
I was looking to get a new shaft from Callaway to put into my Razr Fit. I went on the Callaway site, and I saw the shafts I could buy, however they all say that the shaft tool is not included. Do you need a special tool to install aftermarket shafts into these clubs? Just a torx bit screw, not sure of the size but you wouldn't have to have the official Cally tool. I know it's a little bit smaller than the Taylormade though, you could probably substitute the screw for something more readily-available like an allen head too.
The only nice thing about using the manufacturer supplied tools is they have built in torque settings to keep you from overtightening it, they just click like a torque wrench would. I think the built in torque setting is a big deal. I'm afraid that if you over tighten it, it will break. What if I addressed the ball with the club adjusted to open. Gripped it normally and hit the ball with the face slightly open as it was at address?
Is the loft still lower? Are we going back to the R9 days arguing about effective loft vs. It has been talked about for years. Opening the face on a lower lofted club decreases the loft.
