Cannot see wireless network adapter windows 7




















Ok, finally got the problem licked. I performed an in place upgrade of Windows 7 basically a system repair and I was able to get the wireless card working. Thanks for your help! That's pretty odd, considering that your HP il supposedly has either a Qualcomm Atheros wireless network adapter which is what you said that you used to see or a Realtek RTLEE or RTLBE Series wireless network adapter the only other wireless network adapter driver included on the driver download page for the HP il.

There is no mention anywhere about an Intel device for this model. On the other hand, your screenshot also shows an error for the SMBus Controller, which you hadn't mentioned earlier. The SMBus Controller issue generally indicates that you need to install the chipset driver. This shouldn't have anything to do with the wifi issue, but you should get it resolved. Yeah sorry i didn't mention about SM Bus controller as i think this doesn't have anything to do with wireless adapter, however i will try to fix it.

Anyways, nothing happened to my system before this problem began, it was normal. I don't know what happened and how all of a sudden these errors are coming.
